These stories are an assemblage of tales from known liars, truths or partial fiction as told by close friends and/or legendary accounts from innocent folks who were just talking to make conversation. The author has either experienced these tales personally, heard and enjoyed them as they were told, or else they are the mere fabrications of his lively imagination. Many have resulted from a twenty-two year career in the military followed by a twenty year profession in corporate America as an engineer. Others are based on childhood memories from rural Mississippi during a period of time following the stock market crash of 1929 when times were extremely hard and money was a scarcity. Stories were just about all folks had left. No justification or explanations are offered in their behalf as to whether they are true or not, partially true or just plain fiction other than for your entertainment and enjoyment.
